Through a life-long fascination with change and personal transformation, Berlin architect and artist Maha Alusi has revolutionized the age-old tradition of candle design.

Raised in Baghdad and London, Maha Alusi blends her cultural heritage with a love for modern design and a spirit for innovation.  Her first experiments led her to a new method of production that allowed the wick of a candle to be steered in different directions, allowing for more than one wick to be used.  Success with early designs encouraged Alusi to continue her work, leading to the production of our debut Alusi Collection – each candle possessing a  distinct shape, wick structure and burning path.
